The heart of any dealership is the staff who run it and work in it! There are lots of different characters and skills within the Edinburgh Harley- Davidson family but they all have one thing in common, 100% dedication to the Harley-Davidson ethos.

Whether you are looking for some advice on customising your current bike, looking to purchase your next Harley-Davidson or some of the official H-D merchandise as a gift our team will always be on hand to assist you.

We are continually looking for ways to improve things for our customers, so if you have any feedback that you’d like to send us please feel free to do so.

Kirk Hale - Dealer Principal
Kirk began his career within the auto industry in 1995 having gained experience working for brands such as Mercedes Benz and Saab within the Eastern Western Group. He made the natural move into the realm of motorbikes in 2006 having always had a passion for them. In Kirk’s opinion, joining the ‘Family’ and experiencing the world of Harley-Davidson and participating in the lifestyle that goes with it is key to achieving his focus of an exceptional customer experience.
Gary Vernon - Sales Controller
Gary has been with Edinburgh Harley-Davidson since 2004 but has worked in the motorbike industry for over 30 years. In this time he has gained a staggering amount knowledge on multiple bike brands, not just H-D. Responsible for the Sales Department, Gary’s wealth of knowledge enables him to support the sales team in valuations and product sales. Known for his big personality, he is always happy to discuss the needs of his customers when it comes to purchasing a Harley-Davidson and makes sure it’s the best bike for them.
Gary Vernon - Sales Controller
Harry, a former chef, began his second career in the motorcycle industry back in 2007. He gained experiences with brands like BMW, Husqvarna, KTM and Kawasaki. Being a passionate biker since 1989, his path led to Harley-Davidson, and he joined our Edinburgh family in 2023. Harry's favourite bikes are the Breakout and Fat Boy.
Rob Moore - Parts Manager
Rob is a familiar face to many of our customers and when it comes to Harley-Davidson parts and accessories, you won"t find anyone who"s more knowledgeable than Rob! With over 9 years experience within our team and our busy parts department Rob is another of our team who is extremely focussed on customer service. Rob"s favourite bike is the Nightrain.
Donna - Parts Advisor
Donna is our go to girl for ordering and processing parts both online and in store. She enjoys advising each customer in customisation and supporting them in creating their unique motorbike. Donna currently rides pillion but is keen to achieve her full motorcycle licence very soon.
Claire Dalgleish - Clothing & Merchandise Manager
Claire has been with the Edinburgh Harley-Davidson family since the Eastern Western Motor Group opened the dealership 9 years ago! Prior to working with Harley-Davidson Claire had previously worked with a busy Saab aftersales team. Claire has held her bike licence for 5 years now and her favourite bike is the Dyna Superglide 35th Anniversary Edition! Claire is responsible for making sure we have an extensive and up-to-date range of H-D merchandise available to our customers at all times.
Caroline Aynsley - Clothing Consultant
Totally focussed on customer service and making sure our customers have the best choice when it comes to Harley-Davidson merchandise, Caroline, our clothing consultant has 7 years experience in the retail industry and joined Edinburgh Harley-Davidson 4 years ago. Caroline is one of our staff who prefers being pillion and her favourite bike is the Softail Heritage. She loves taking part in rallies and touring Europe on the back of a motorcycle.
Dean Reid - Technician
Dean has been a motorcycle technician for more than 9 years and has gained a wealth of experience in this area. Dean has a great passion for all types of motorcycles but Harley Davidson particularly stand out for him. In his down time Dean races off road bikes and has done for more than 10 years, proving that professionally and socially, bikes are in his blood.
Rab Lyle - Technician
Rab has been part of our Edinburgh Harley-Davidson family for over 9 years now and with over 15 years of very valuable H-D motorbike experience, he is another valuable member of our team. Since the age of 17 Rab has been a bike enthusiast and his passion for his job also spills over into his spare time. He also restores classic motorcycles. Rab has too many favourites in the current H-D model range to list them all!
Sara Kousarieh - Customer Experience
Sara has been apart of the Edinburgh Harley-Davidson Team since December 2022. Her job at Edinburgh Harley-Davidson involves supporting the Sales team, rentals, advertising of bikes and clothing. She has always had a love for bikes but after she attended Thunder in the Glens in 2022 she fell in love with the brand and everything that goes with it. She has always planned on getting her full bike licence but after getting the Job at Harley this pushed her even more to get passed ASAP. She passed her full bike test in June 2023 and rides a stunning XL 1200 Forty Eight.
Keith Falconer - Technician
Laura started with Edinburgh Harley-Davidson in 2021, having previously worked in the Travel & Tourism Industry. Joining the team at Harley Davidson was a natural choice as her Dad was a mechanic and she grew up with motorbikes all her life. Her responsibilities include looking after our rental customers, supporting the Sales team, advertising of bikes, clothing and ensuring day to day visitors coming into the dealership have the best experience possible. Laura does not currently ride, but is keen to learn, and does love travelling on the back of her husbands Harley as a pillion.
Clare Anderson - Service Advisor
Having only joined Harley-Davidson in early November 2023, Clare joins the team with over 10 years' experience within the Motor Trade and all things Aftersales. Having always had a passion for Motorcycles, particularly the MotoGP, it was a dream come true when Edinburgh Harley-Davidson came knocking on the door. Inspired, Clare is now looking to get her bike licence, and her aim is to get riding on a Softail Street Bob in the not-so-distant future.
Chris MacDonald - Sales Consultant
Chris joined our sales team in the summer of 2023. He started in the motor trade in 2002 as an apprentice painter before moving into sales in 2010 working with Ford then Jaguar/Land Rover. With his love for custom paint he has been building cars and bikes since he was 18 so it was only natural that he would gravitate towards Harley-Davidson with the endless options available to help you create something truly unique.
Keith Falconer - Technician
Keith has worked within the motorcycle trade for over 27 years and specialises in engine building. Since completing his apprenticeship, he has nurtured his technical skills into becoming one of the best Harley-Davidson Technicians in the UK and has been within the Edinburgh Harley-Davidson team now for over 9 years. Keith is well known with our customers for his wealth of knowledge when it comes to Harley-Davidson servicing and care. Keith"s big personality matches his favourite bike, the VRSCF!
